The Celiac Baker is a gluten free bakery with traditional styles and outlooks located in St. Albert, Alberta. We use family recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation and put quality first.
I started this business in 2020, when COVID first hit, out of my parents basement. The first order I took was for 500 Chocolate Chip Cookies for the Polar Express in Stettler, Alberta, and it inspired me to keep going.
My family and I aspire to treat you to quality gluten free food and tasty sweets made in a dedicated gluten free kitchen. My goal is for everyone to feel that our items taste as if they are not gluten free.
Having been diagnosed at 17, I have learned the importance of the strict discipline needed to cook and bake gluten free; keeping in mind that there cannot be any cross-contamination. Throughout this journey, I have discovered many others, just like me, who are looking for a treat that has great taste and texture. This has evolved to discovering new techniques to bring in Dairy Free, Nut Free, and even Vegan products to my bakery! Everyone deserves to have some sweetness in their life.
